A desire to improve the quality of seafood arriving
on the
tables of Scotland led to the creation of one of Scotland's
few remaining independent seafood companies -
Bannerman Seafoods of Tain, Ross-shire.
Formed in the 1960s by Iain and Bob Bannerman, this
family business specialises in quality seafood from the
Highlands of Scotland.
There is a 20,000 sq.ft. processing complex, which
is semi-automated with full freezing and storage facilities. All
seafood products produced on the site are to latest EEC quality,
hygiene and safety standards.
Bannerman export to France, Spain, Greece and the USA, and now also import Spanish Tapas products for sale to trade and private customers.
